Stage Sets vol.1-Plus One

August 8, 2008 – 11:20 am

So I know there are a lot of you out there that get a kick out of the production side of things.

I’m also a huge fan of sharing ideas and resources freely with others so I’m going to start posting our stage sets for each series starting with our last series ‘Plus One.’

Our stage design crew try and make the most out of everyday materials and a very small budget. The shiny columns are actually just beaded curtains that you would find in someone’s house that hasn’t left the 70’s…

You can buy them here for 19 bucks each and they reflect light amazingly.

I’ll post our current series set for Amped as soon as I snag a good picture.

  2. Awesome!! My sister has beads like that hanging behind her bed, they’re pretty cool actually…

  3. Just the kind of thing that floats my boat.
LOVE stage design, with pic’s and details.
Would love it if you would share pictures on a new flickr group (flickr creative elements design WAREHOUSE lab) that specifically focuses on sharing set/stage design elements for worship spaces.

  4. Great idea! What color are the beads you are using on stage? And are they the clear or the PVC type?

Just shows how much you can do without alot of cost.
